Establishment of peace monitors at Lengekoroh and konkoba2 community

CARD-HR and KDWN have successfully established Community Peace Monitor Groups in Lengekoro and Konkoba communities, bringing together ten key local stakeholders committed to promoting peace, dialogue, and early conflict prevention. With the generous support of Talking Drums Studios, this initiative strengthens community-led approaches to resolving disputes, fostering social cohesion, and responding to emerging tensions before they escalate.
The Peace Monitors serve as trusted voices within their communities, working closely with local authorities, women, youth, and traditional leaders to promote non-violence, inclusion, and sustainable peace. This milestone marks an important step toward building resilient communities where peace is owned, protected, and sustained by the people themselves.
